Bruthen Caravan Park

(Mt Martha, Victoria)
It's very well kept by Bill and his wife who live there.
The camp kitchen was the original cattleman's hut when the sale yards were next to it. It has every thing you would want inc:gas bar-b-q, 2 fire places and fire wood, (a donation box is there to cover cost of wood), a kitchen sink with hot and cold water, dining table, 2 fridges, a small library (take one leave one), some cooking gear. Bill has even put in a small veggie garden for the kids.
The toilets and showers are spotless. The camp sites are great with lovely soft grass. Cost high season powered site around $28 per night or low season around $18.
The village has everything you need and also has a mini brewery. It's also only minutes from Lakes Entrance and Bairnsdale, also it's the start of the Omeo Hwy about one hour to Omeo or 45mins to Swifts Creek and plenty of spots along the way to fish or 4wd and its a good road.
Buchan Caves are just down the road also a good drive about 35min. We have had many good times here with our 4wd club. It's about a 4 to 5 hour drive from Melbourne towing a van or 3 to 4 hours car only depending how many stops you have. Bill and his wife always make you welcome.
