Funny photos taken while travelling in Australia

Opportunities to take funny photos seem to come up regularly as we travel Australia. We're trying to get in the habit of capturing these usually unexpected moments on camera.

Sometimes it is a funny event, but more often it is the positioning or wording of signs that gives us a chuckle.

Below are a few humorous images we've taken on our travels.

When will those birds learn to read? (Charleville, QLD)

We didn't find it too hard to obey this sign in Broome, WA!

We found this sign in a toilet of a Ranger's Office in the northern end of the Flinders Ranges NP, SA.

Getting stuck in the Ord River at the Ivanhoe Crossing, Kunanurra, WA, wasn't overly funny at the time.

Luckily a kind man offered to tow us out! (Before we saw any crocodiles).
